Here is your 2008/2009 update !!! Hollywood came calling
to Hudson's Kennels once again. This time for my Kuma/Nyga puppies. Ashley Kemp the Producer of the movie "Sparkle and
Tooter" called me up and asked if I could help out. They needed wolf looking type puppies, as part of the movie. It calls
for the actor, Baby Sparkle to be raised by wolves. Well, Alex, the puppies and I spent the day on the movie set. And
the fun we had.
Click on the "Sparkle & Tooter" link and check out the Movies page to
see the many photos of what went on behind the scenes. Also see a teaser trailer of the movie. It is
planed to be out this year...

Legand is one of the largest pups I have seen in my years of breeding
malamutes. I hold him in pictures below and take pictures of him so you can see his true size. I have learned weight
is not a factor in determining the quality and true SIZE of a dog/pup. I've seen others try to simulate and be less
than honest on their weights and sizes. My previous puppy pages truly show what people say and what they think about my dogs.
To those others I say "Imitation is the sincerest
form of flattery".
It truly is a compliment...
A puppy is generally a big investment. You have to have time and patience. You have to have love and understanding.
You have to have commitment to training.

LET ME KNOW YOU WERE HERE !!!
In considering a Malamute or Husky puppy for your family and home, we
highly recommend that you do a lot of research on the sled dog breeds to make sure they are the right breeds for you!
Puppies are a lot of hard work and need obedience training, puppy classes and a firm loving hand to learn how to grow
into a well mannered adult. Both Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes are two separate breeds not to be mistaken
for the same dog. Malamutes & Siberians are energetic working dogs that need to have a job to do to be
happy and content. Whether it is sledding, hiking, backpacking, weight pulling, skijoring, obedience or agility competition
that you involve them with, they want to be involved in it all. They are a pack animal and do not care to be left
alone and like to be with you and your family. Alaskan Malamutes babysat the M'Loot children in the tribes.
And accompanied their masters on bear hunts. And can tend to be quite protective in some situations. Huskies
are awesome kid dogs also. But very different from the Malamute they will NOT protect. But with any
animal careful supervision is always advised. Take the time to consider your decision to own a Malamute or Husky very
carefully. The Husky or Malamute link above will explain about both Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes and
some of the misconceptions about the Siberian & Alaskan breeds and you are welcome to contact me with any
questions you may have.
Average weights of our full grown female Malamutes range from 90-130
lbs. Average weight range for our full grown male Malamutes range from 100-150 lbs. Also Malamutes DO NOT
have blue eyes. AND I have been all over the U.S. to visit Many Kennels. I have yet to see a 200 lb Malamute.
If you find one let me know !! No exaggerations accepted...
